About Michael

I am an EFI Teacher at the OCDSB. I have experience teaching grades 6-11 in Immersion French and Core French. I received my Bachelor's of Education from York University and I am eligible to teach Grade 4-12. I am currently employed in Ottawa to teach Immersion French (French, Social Studies, Science, Geography, History, Physical Education).

I use an inquiry-based learning approach where the student is in charge of their learning. I provide the tools necessary for learning, however, it depends on the student to think critically in their application of knowledge. My lessons are creative, innovative, and applicable to real world scenarios. Often, we will start with a 10-15 minute lesson and the rest of the time will be spent practicing through speaking, reading, and listening. All lessons will be applicable to daily life and can be used in your life immediately.
