I was excited to use superprof’s services to start re-learning French. I found a tutor that suited my needs and interests, however, when I went to schedule the meeting, I was shocked at the price of the subscription fee. Just to be clear – users must pay for the subscription fee to “gain access” to all of the tutor profiles, and also pay individually for each session? And, the subscription fee is not a one-time fee, but one that you must be paying monthly to keep being able to use the platform to communicate with the tutor, schedule appointments, etc? If this is the case, I would encourage superprof to re-evaluate their business model, as price gauging to render vital learning tools such as tutoring so inaccessible is extremely disheartening and counterproductive.
