UBC Sauder has a range of scholarships and bursaries for undergraduate and graduate students. Female MBA applicants should look at applying to the Women in Business Leadership scholarship, which supports applicants committed to leadership and gender parity in business.

Vancouver business students can also look at organizations outside their schools for funding support. Royal Bank offers $4,000 to Black students studying business, and the Kathryn Huger Leadership Award is available to women who want to advance in leadership. Applicants with a GPA of at least 3.0 and an annual income of less than $30,000 can apply to the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade Leaders of Tomorrow Bursary.

Tips for Applying for Financial Aid ✅

Learn about all the scholarships and bursaries for which you are eligible: visit your school's financial aid office, connect with the registrar, and ask program leads what the options are.
Keep track of application deadlines: many scholarships require you to complete an application package by strict deadlines, so ensure they are marked in your calendar.
Write your application statements early: the last thing you'll want is to be stressing over a written statement where you are expected to show why you are the best candidate for an award. Start writing as soon as you know what the expectations are.
Build a strong background: volunteer in your community, keep your grades up, and engage in activities that will make your application strong.
