Vanier's Animal Health Technology program prepares students to work with animals in clinical and laboratory settings. Students will study nursing, surgery, diagnostic imaging, zootechnics, pharmacology, and nutrition, among other subjects. The training focuses on domestic, laboratory, exotic, and farm animals. Additionally, students will be prepared to pass the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE) upon graduation.

The Animal Health Technology program is taught in English and is accredited by the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CMVA). The Vanier College also offers a work-study program (Alternance Travail-Études).
