About David

Just to let you know a bit about myself. I achieved an A* in P.E, maths and Geography at A level. I also achieved 8 A*-A GCSEs. I am currently on my final year of studying a degree in Sport and Exercise Science at Loughborough University. I have been tutoring for just over year, I am fairly new to my pocket skill but have used different platforms over the past year. My main specialities are Sport Science/Physical Education, Psychology, Maths, Geography, English and English language.
I think tutoring is a great way to help students: 1) improve their education quality, 2) supplement the material that they have already learnt, 3) find weaknesses and address them, 4) develop strengths, 5) master basic fundamental skills and 6) have a friendly and enjoyable place to develop. I provide lots of different ways to learn content, including: practice questions, diagrams, images, verbal explanation, memory tests and videos. My lessons are fun and enjoyable, normally the time will fly by as the students are having fun whilst learning! I tutor in my spare time whilst not studying for my degree. I am also a professional runner, participating in the 800m at an International level. I look forward to helping you! About the lesson

I cover a variety of levels (GCSE, A-Level, Highers, BTEC, IGCSE etc.) across multiple exam boards (OCR, AQA, EDEXCEL, SQA, Pearson, CCEA)

Lessons will last approximately 1 hour. Examples, practice questions, diagrams and explanations will form the core structure. Scientifically proven methods of learning will be utilised. SMART goals will be used in order to monitor and track learning. Progression of difficulty will exist as we go through the lessons.
