About Yasmin
Having been apart of the creative industries from a young age as an actor and performer, I have a deep love and appreciation for the arts. Acting is an incredibly fun and exhilarating art form, being given the opportunity and having the ability to let go and pretend to be someone else, gives you a great understanding of people and relationships. It also teaches you so much about yourself.
Being a working and also studying actor myself, I truely understand the necessity of discipline and continuity when honing your craft. However I believe in making the "work" fun. Allowing yourself to take risks, make mistakes and enjoy the process of creating and developing characters.
I've been lucky enough to study at the American Arts Film and Television Academy in the US. I never thought I could love acting more, then I went and worked with some of the most inspiring and hard working people in the industry. The techniques I was taught and the lessons I've learned, have opened my eyes to new ways of approaching a scene and studying a character. This is why I want to tutor people, to share my insight and help others gain the same knowledge and understanding of this wild and wonderful industry.

Having trained overseas in the United States, I got the opportunity to learn from and work with the highest calibre of teachers and acting professionals. Using that knowledge and adapting it with different acting techniques and warm ups that help loosen up your mind and body, allowing you to get out of your head and into the character. We're not striving for perfection, we're allowing ourselves to make mistakes and learn what feels good and what doesn't.

- WARM UPS and WARM DOWNS
- AUDITIONING / SELF TAPING
