About Trisha
Hi, my name is Trisha. As a student myself, I understand the difficulty and frustration that can come with learning sometimes. If we were all meant to excel in certain subjects, the world would be a very boring place! I personally believe that learning should never feel like a burden, which is why as a tutor, I do everything I can to make learning fun and interesting. One thing that's very important to establish in younger children is confidence in their skills. Through my tutoring style, I ensure I can inspire confidence and perseverance in students.

When tutoring, I have always especially focused on ensuring my tutoring sessions are fun and engaging. I firmly believe that if lessons aren't engaging, students don't end up learning much. During my lessons, I use a variety of resources such as worksheets, slideshows, videos, diagrams, kahoots and quizzes to ensure understanding. I tutor students K-8, but I am willing to tutor students any grade below 12 if desired.
