About Rhea

As an educator with a Master's degree in Economics and over 4 years of teaching experience, my passion for economics goes beyond the classroom. I have dedicated myself to fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for Econometrics and Macroeconomics among students at the university level.

My journey in academia began with a strong academic foundation and a curiosity-driven approach to economics. Throughout my career, I have strived to create a stimulating learning environment where students are encouraged to explore complex economic theories, analyze data rigorously, and apply econometric methods to real-world problems. I believe in the importance of connecting theory with practice, helping students understand how economic principles shape decision-making in various sectors of the economy.

In addition to teaching, I am actively involved in research that contributes to the field of economics. My research interests span from empirical studies in labor economics to analyzing macroeconomic trends and policies. About the lesson

In my lessons on Econometrics and Macroeconomics, my objective is to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of both theoretical concepts and practical applications in economic analysis.

Econometrics focuses on the application of statistical methods to economic data. Students learn to analyze relationships between variables, test economic theories, and make predictions using regression analysis and other advanced techniques. Practical examples from economic research and policy analysis illustrate how econometric methods are used to inform decision-making in areas such as finance, labor markets, and public policy.

Macroeconomics explores the behavior of economies as a whole, focusing on factors such as inflation, unemployment, economic growth, and fiscal and monetary policies. Students examine macroeconomic theories and models to understand how these variables interact and influence national and global economies. Discussions often include current economic issues and debates to provide students with a real-world context for applying macroeconomic principles.

Throughout my lessons, I emphasize critical thinking and analytical skills. Students are encouraged to engage actively in discussions, analyze data sets, and apply theoretical frameworks to evaluate economic scenarios.
