About Jude

I’m a piano tutor with over 14 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Classical Piano. I offer personalized lessons tailored to each student’s goals and learning style. My teaching specializes in chord theory, ear training, improvisation, and performance skills to help you become a well-rounded musician. I work with students at all levels—from beginners just starting out to advanced players working toward mastery. My supportive and engaging style makes learning enjoyable and encourages steady progress. I have experience teaching a variety of styles, including jazz, classical, and more, so you can explore different musical genres. Improvisation is one of my favorite areas to teach, as it helps students develop creativity and confidence. I believe every student has unique musical talents waiting to be unlocked. Whether you want to play for fun or prepare for concerts and exams, I’m here to guide you. Let’s start this musical journey together and discover your full potential at the piano!

About the lesson

My teaching method focuses on developing strong keyboard technique, ear training, and performance skills. I believe a solid foundation in piano theory helps students understand the music they play and apply it creatively. Each lesson is carefully planned to balance technical exercises with fun and engaging pieces. I support both young talents and adult hobbyists by adapting lessons to their individual pace and goals. For beginners, I emphasize finger strength, hand coordination, and reading music with ease. More advanced students work on ear training to recognize intervals and chords by listening, which improves their musical intuition. Performance skills are another important focus. I encourage regular practice in front of others to build confidence and stage presence. Applying theory through practical exercises makes learning more meaningful and prepares students for real musical situations. I also introduce different styles and genres to keep lessons fresh and exciting. Patience and steady practice are key, and I am here to guide every step of the way. Together, we build not only skills but a lasting love for the piano.
