About Maya
My lessons are designed especially for beginners and anyone who’s ever felt overwhelmed by formulas. I use a warm, storytelling approach to bring physics to life—turning abstract ideas into relatable, real-world experiences. We’ll explore the universe through simple experiments, everyday analogies, and the fascinating tales of scientific discovery. Equations come later—after you’ve grasped the “why” behind the concepts. I use vivid visual aids, hands-on demos, and interactive discussions to spark your imagination and keep learning engaging. Together, we’ll explore not only how things work, but why they matter, even diving into the philosophical wonders physics unveils. Whether you’re an Olympiad Competitor or a budding Medical Physicist, I’ll guide you step-by-step toward confidence and clarity.

I’m a Physics tutor with over 9 years of experience and a Master’s degree in Condensed Matter Physics. My passion lies in making complex concepts clear and engaging, especially in the field of Environmental Radiation Physics. I’ve guided students from diverse backgrounds—Environmental Science, Health Physics, and Nuclear Engineering—helping them understand and master this crucial subject.
My lessons focus on the principles of natural and artificial radioactivity, ensuring students can distinguish between sources and processes. I emphasize hands-on understanding of radiation detection methods and teach effective shielding techniques. My students have successfully applied these skills in labs, research, and real-world assessments.
One of my key strengths is making the environmental impact of nuclear waste both comprehensible and relevant. We explore case studies, simulate scenarios, and break down regulatory standards. I also ensure students grasp the significance of safe handling and monitoring of radiation.
I find joy in helping learners apply their knowledge to assess and manage radiation risks. Together, we turn scientific curiosity into environmental responsibility.
