About (E) Yara

I’m a piano tutor with over 8 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Piano. I have a deep passion for music composition and songwriting, which I love sharing with my students. My teaching style is fun, engaging, and personalized to suit learners of all levels—from school students to adults and professionals. I focus on chord theory, sight-reading, performance skills, and improvisation to help students build both technique and creativity. Lessons are tailored to individual goals, ensuring each student progresses at their own pace. I’ve guided students from Intermediate to Advanced levels, as well as those at the Professional/Expert stage. Through structured exercises and creative projects, I encourage exploration and confidence at the piano. I aim to make learning enjoyable while developing strong musical foundations. My approach balances technical mastery with expressive, soulful playing. I also help students connect theory to practical performance and original compositions. About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on building strong fundamentals while keeping lessons engaging and practical. I emphasize sight-reading skills to help students navigate new pieces with confidence. At the same time, I support those working on classical repertoire, focusing on tone, phrasing, and musicality.

Regular practice routines, combined with structured feedback, ensure steady improvement. My method balances technical skill, musical understanding, and enjoyment of the instrument.
