About Devon
I am a nursing student at McMaster through which I have gained knowledge in subjects from the science and social science fields. In high school, I found my strengths to be in the sciences and the maths, though I am comfortable with almost any high school subjects. I also studied French immersion through elementary/high school, so I am fluent with this language. I have over 5 years of experience coaching gymnastics and have significant volunteer experience in my local hospital and a long term care center in Hamilton.

I base my lessons specifically on the student and focus the teaching methods on exactly what the student needs, including their preferred learning method. I like to integrate theory with examples as well as a significant amount of practice for the student to which I will provide feedback. I am a strong believer in the importance of positivity which I will integrate into my teaching.
