About the lesson

Teaching Methodology I use a blend of interactive explanation, exam-style questions, and practical coding exercises (mainly Python) to deepen understanding and build confidence. I focus heavily on exam technique, including how to write pseudocode, structured answers, and command word breakdowns (e.g., explain, evaluate, discuss). Each session is adapted to the student’s pace and needs — whether they’re aiming for a pass or pushing for a top grade. Lesson Format Most lessons are 60 minutes, with flexible options for longer sessions during revision periods. Lessons are structured with a short recap, a focused topic explanation, guided practice, and a mini-assessment or reflection task at the end. My Experience I’m a UK-trained secondary Computer Science teacher with several years of classroom experience across KS3, GCSE, and A Level (AQA, OCR, and CAIE syllabuses). I also support students with coursework, programming projects, and revision planning.
