About Soroush
I'm a PhD candidate in Mechatronic Systems Engineering at Simon Fraser University, where I also work as a research assistant. I have several years of experience tutoring and working as a Teaching Assistant in core electrical engineering courses like electric circuits, power electronics, and electrical machines. I’ve worked closely with students in labs, tutorials, and one-on-one sessions, helping them grasp complex concepts with ease. I’m passionate about teaching and truly enjoy supporting students on their academic journey. My goal is always to create a friendly and supportive environment where learning feels comfortable and stress-free. I'm a PhD student in Electrical Engineering and have worked as a Teaching Assistant (TA) for several courses like electric circuits, electronics, power systems, power electronics, and electrical machines. Since I’ve been in the same shoes as many students, I know how challenging these subjects can be — and I always try to explain things in a way that’s simple, clear, and relatable.
