About Corin

I’m a dedicated piano tutor with 14 years of experience, as well as an active composer and performer. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Piano Studies, which has given me a strong foundation in both classical training and creative expression. Music has always been a lifelong journey for me, and I bring that same passion into every lesson I teach. Over the years, I’ve worked with students of all levels—from absolute beginners to advanced pianists preparing for performances or exams. I believe in creating a learning space that is both supportive and challenging. My teaching combines technical training with musicality, helping students grow in both skill and confidence. As a performer, I understand the importance of expression, stage presence, and practice discipline. I use these insights to guide students beyond just reading notes, encouraging them to connect emotionally with their music. I also enjoy helping students explore composition and improvisation if they’re interested in creating their own pieces. Every student learns differently, so I tailor lessons to their goals and pace. Whether you're starting your first scales or polishing a concerto, I’m here to support your growth. My goal is to inspire a lasting love for music and a sense of achievement through every note played.

About the lesson

My piano teaching approach focuses on building musical fluency step by step. I guide students in learning how to read sheet music, understand rhythm, and play expressively. Each lesson includes rhythm drills, finger exercises, and song interpretation to help develop both technique and musical understanding.

I adapt every lesson to fit the student’s pace, needs, and personal goals. Whether a student wants to master classical pieces or explore creative expression, I offer clear and patient guidance. I help students break down complex music into simple parts, making progress feel natural and rewarding.

For learners with high ambition or strong early talent, I provide structure and challenge to help them reach their full potential. I also support those working toward performance goals by focusing on control, timing, and emotional expression. My lessons are designed to build confidence, musical curiosity, and a deep connection with the piano.

Above all, I want students to enjoy the process and feel proud of their growth. I believe every pianist has a unique voice, and I’m here to help them find it.
