About Eve
I'm one of the highest-rated profs at UW--check it out on UW Flow. :) But I also really, really like teaching all ages. Before I was in university, I was in elementary schools and also in grade and high schools tutoring my peers and parents' friends' children how to multiply or how to count out syllables or what to call a supermarket in French. I'm here for you & I'm excited to be here--but I also don't let you just hang out and play. Play is good for learning--but only when it's balanced with actual follow-through. Vice versa, too! If you study, study, study and don't eat a sandwich, then you're not going to do very well, either! Self-care and school work should go together.

I can teach very standard lessons (worksheet, lecture, demonstration, and observation) or I can teach a more dynamic classroom / session with visual aides, hands-on material, and alternative learning methods. It all depends on the student and the material.
We work together towards a common goal, no matter if it's grade motivated or skill motivated.

Webcam / Zoom is an option but the prices are the same.
I can usually meet you at UW, preferably in the Grad House on campus, but we can also meet at libraries all around or a cafe that's not loud (open to discussion).
I don't do free lessons, but I we can talk for upwards of 15 minutes for free to get a sense of what kind of help you need and if I would be the best fit.
There are also free lessons / general lessons on my website as well. (concealed information)
