About Jasmine

I am a professional ballet dancer, graduate of Canada's National Ballet School. I danced with companies in Europe for the last 5 years including Semperoper Dresden and the most recent being the National Ballet of Romania in Bucharest. I danced roles in many classical ballets such as Swan Lake, the Nutcracker, La Bayadere, Sleeping Beauty etc. I currently teach in Barrie, ON Extreme Dance Connection and in Orillia at Titanium Arts Lab.

About the lesson

My teaching techniques and methods vary depending on the group/individual and their unique goals and abilities. A typical class works towards those goals, if a student is in need of gaining flexibility, I taper the class to that and will include many stretches throughout. If the student is in need of strength, I also have many other exercises to help him/her develop into the best dancer he/she can be. Each ballet class ranges from 1 hour to 2, depending on the level. I have worked with every age range including: Toddlers, ages 6-17 and even adults. I also teach pointe and can teach choreography. I try to listen to the students needs and assess the level to help the student in the most efficient way I can.
