About Benjamin
I am a university student and when I was 10 years old I was diagnosed with ADHD. I was misbehaving in school and my mom sent me to several therapists but it never worked because I was under the impression that I was in trouble and or that I had a problem. In reality I did not have a problem or a disability and it was not until I shook off that stigma that I really started to do well and get my act together. It is my goal to use my experience and understanding as a way to help kids become the best they can be in spite of having ADHD.

I do not want kids to feel like having ADHD is a disability or something that should hold them back. My lessons focus on teaching coping mechanisms and strategies to help kids minimise the impact that ADHD on their life. I use positivity as a way to help kids feel more confident about having ADHD instead of feeling embarrassed or ashamed.
