I am a violin tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music, specializing in violin performance. My background spans solo recitals, chamber music, and orchestral playing, giving me a well-rounded perspective on musicianship. My violin teaching approach centers on clear goal-setting and structured practice routines tailored to each student’s needs. We begin with daily warm-ups to build technique and focus. I guide students through technical etudes that strengthen finger agility and bow control. Expressive phrasing is a key focus—bringing music to life with emotion and nuance. Together, we work on stage presence, helping students feel confident and poised during performances.
I prepare students thoroughly for recitals, auditions, and ensemble playing by simulating real performance conditions. This builds readiness and reduces anxiety. Each lesson balances discipline with artistic freedom, fostering both skill and passion.
