About Rhea

I am a singing tutor with over 8 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music Education with a focus on voice. My passion lies in working with choirs, vocal ensembles, and group harmony training. I specialize in styles such as Classical, Sacred, A Cappella, and Barbershop. I have strong skills in sight singing, solfège, choral blend, and part-singing. Leading rehearsals is something I enjoy, helping groups grow together musically and personally. Over the years, I’ve worked with school choirs, college ensembles, and community singing groups. My approach focuses on building strong vocal technique while fostering teamwork and connection through music. I believe that every singer can improve with the right guidance and practice. Whether it’s learning challenging harmonies or refining vocal tone, I support each group member’s journey. I love helping singers discover their unique voices and how they fit into the bigger sound. Making music together is a joyful experience, and I strive to create a warm, encouraging environment. My goal is to help groups sing confidently, beautifully, and with heart. About the lesson

My singing lessons focus on building strong music literacy and sight-singing skills, essential for both orchestra members and crossover artists. We start with notation reading, helping you become comfortable with musical symbols and rhythms. Interval training is key, improving your ability to recognize and sing distances between notes accurately.

Rhythm exercises sharpen your timing and help you feel the music’s pulse naturally. Harmony building teaches you how to blend your voice with others and understand chord structures. For the orchestra member, steady practice strengthens sight-reading and ensemble skills, making rehearsals smoother and more confident.

Crossover artists develop versatility by connecting their ear, mind, and voice, adapting quickly to different styles and complex arrangements. I incorporate sight-singing apps, rhythm trainers, and notation tools to make practice engaging and effective. These resources provide instant feedback and reinforce learning outside of lessons.

Both personas grow by connecting what they see in the music to what they hear and sing. It’s a step-by-step process, building skill and confidence with patience and encouragement.
