What is the Price of Drum Lessons?

The price of lessons has a ton of variables. For instance, the tutor itself, location, and the number of people are all going to play a role. The average price of drum lessons for an average drum teacher is around 30-50$ an hour. A drum lesson will typically last an hour. This price can be higher or lower depending on where you live. If you live in a busy city like Toronto or Vancouver you can expect the prices to be higher than the average. This will be because the cost of living is so much higher. If you live in a rural area the price will likely be lower than the average.

Another factor when it comes to the price of drum lessons is your drum tutor. Are you looking for someone that has specialized, or has years of experience? The cost will be more for someone who specializes but can be worth the price in the long run. If you want to get good at playing rock songs on the drums you're going to want someone that specializes in rock music compared to someone just having general knowledge. A good example of this would be finding a personal trainer. If you were trying to lose weight and you were looking at trainers, you would want the trainer that specializes in weight loss compared to someone that works with everybody. You're also always going to have to pay more for someone with more experience. They have a wealth of knowledge and have spent there own money and time perfecting their craft.
