About the lesson

Vocal training is a journey of discovery that involves both discipline and creative freedom, and my teaching approach integrates Communication, Creativity, Cultural Sensitivity, and Accountability to support this process. Communication is the foundation—I listen carefully to your goals, explain techniques in clear and approachable language, and encourage an open dialogue that makes you an active participant in your learning. Creativity is central to keeping lessons engaging and meaningful; through exercises like character work, imagery-based singing, and improvisation, we explore new dimensions of vocal expression that make your singing more dynamic and personal. Cultural sensitivity guides our repertoire choices and interpretations, encouraging respect for the origins and context of each song while also empowering you to bring your own cultural voice into your music.

Accountability keeps you on track with tailored practice plans, thoughtful feedback, and regular progress assessments that celebrate growth and address challenges. Together, we work on technical essentials such as breath support, vocal placement, range extension, articulation, and stylistic interpretation—all with an emphasis on healthy, sustainable vocal habits.
