About Maria Laura
I’ve always had a passion for teaching and during my life I had many experiences, professional and more informal, to experiment with it. I’ve been a teacher not only of Italian, but also of Art History and cooking. I’ve passion for these subjects and for cinema too, especially when it comes to Italian ones.

ciao, mi chiamo Maria Laura! I have earned two degrees in Italy and have also been a secondary school teacher there, where I taught at a high school for five years. Previously, I also taught Italian privately to foreigners, primarily Americans. I came to London to pursue a PhD at UCL, where I also taught Italian language and culture for two years. I’ve experience teaching both to teenagers and adults. I like to teach my native language melding it with some information and curiosity about my country.
