There is no specific methodology. Every student has his or her own pace which will be found through the first few lessons. The teacher should find the best way to teach language in a way that is somewhat tailored to that specific student.
My classes consist of basic building blocks made of grammar, listening, reading and conversation. I gradually work my way up when I notice that the building block has been fully mastered. I have many references to back up my experience.
My methods vary and are adapted to the needs of the students. We work together to help the student achieve his/her academic goals. I am quite flexible in terms of time and hours requested and have had nothing but positive feedback.
