English Literature and Creative Writing Graduate in Vancouver offers online tutoring in... well, English and Creative Writing!

I prefer to teach one-on-one. Having planned and conducted tutorials for groups of 20-25, I find that doing face-to-face work lets me understand my students' needs in a much more efficient manner. I also prefer to work via Skype/online, mostly due to travel constraints, though I'd be willing to negotiate this based on transport/distance. My classes are quite structured, but not rigid.

With an MFA in creative writing, I teach daytime classes in writing or literature (in Vancouver)

I use a lot of hands-on assignments. I believe the best way to learn is by doing it wrong, understanding why, and trying it again. Editing the work of others is also a great way to learn in groups, while editing your own work helps individual students learn.
