In general, classes follow a format of Engage-Study-Activate, or some variant of that approach. The class begins with engaging students with warm-up activities designed to get students into the proper mindset to speak and listen in English and prepare them for the lesson material that follows.
I base my classes on the basic chords and scale shapes, taught through popular/classic songs either chosen by myself or (preferably) by the students.
