My lessons emphasize understanding and mathematical thinking over rote memorization. The more a student understands, the less they need to remember—and less risk they have of misremembering or forgetting something critical during a test. Of course, fostering this understanding must be balanced against coursework deadlines and exam preparation.
My teaching method will be diverse with you, as you prefer. Personally, I prefer practical methods when solving equations. I like to proof every method I use in problems, and make you understand how to get the short cuts! Up to grade 12 and 1st year university students.
I have a passion of teaching Physics and mathematics. I have been teaching since Grade 10. I have taught in groups in a class room setting as well as individual. I always try to make the concepts of Physics very clear to students and try to create critical thinking in them. While teaching physics , I give examples and applications of these concepts in the real life.
My teaching method is simple. I love to carry everyone along. No one is left behind. My students depend on me and that is why I am determined to succeed. When my students excel, I excel as well. I have a lot of math games that make learning fun and easy.
I enjoy teaching middle school aged students as well as students going into grades 9 and 10. I like to first see what kind of work the student is being given in class and then determine how to go about teaching the student. Every student learns and works different and I will strive to help each student find the way that works for them and help them achieve their desired education goals.
I prefer one to one classes, so that student can grasp the concepts easily and I could focus on his shortcomings and help him to undestand the depth of the subject. Moreover, I prefer to teach with patience and have flexible hours available.
My teaching methods include: going over notes by myself then with the student as a team, working through previous problems done by the student, re-teaching the lesson or unit to the student, and after I ask if they get it complete and if so, to reteach it to me. I base my methods of off the notes that are given/written by the student or their teacher.
Any problem in maths, you need to know the theory behind it. Say for example, you can figure out any trigonometric equation and simplify it by using the methods teachers at school taught you. Or you can spend some time to go beyond that and understand whats happening and why.. Great mathematicians and scientists make their bones this way... Otherwise, you will end up just like every other...
I believe in practice! I would love to give my students different type of questions based on the same formula or concept and then ask them to solve those. Critical Thinking is the key! I am very patient with my students, it might take them a while to understand a new concept but that is fine! Also i believe in revising the base/foundation concepts before jumping on to the new ones.
My teaching methods are helping students formulate hypotheses and focus all ideas before attempting to answer the question. I also like to breakdown questions and go through them step by step and add additional examples to really make sure students understand the concepts and their answers.
My teaching methods are based on the principle that everything can be learned and patience and reassurance are keys to the building a great foundation and thorough understanding of the complex principles of any subject and I'm here to help build on those
My method is very simple. I try to focus where students often slip and make mistakes. I teach so that they understand the motive and also they could grasp the idea behind the concept. I approach a subject with structure and proper rhythm so that students could get into the flow themselves.
My methodology depends upon the student's requirement, starting with basics to clarify fundamentals or starting with advanced topics. I can easily judge when the student starts feeling comfortable with the subject and is ready to move on to next level. Mathematics and Mechanics are my favorite and love to teach these subjects.
My way to teaching to know the needs and demands of particular student in the particular state of his/her mind. Because just giving information without considering his/her state will not give any fruitful result. Giving comfortability to students to learn will make the difference.
I have found that the employment of a certain measure of troubleshooting, which identifies areas of need, (some may view as assessments) to be very useful.....developing some structure and additionally a certain systematic approach....whereby topics and subject matter are presented and overall learning occurs through an interesting, progressive and intelligible method.
I like to specially craft lessons and examples for the student's particular interests and goals rather than teaching from a textbook. The student should remain engaged and grow more curious as they learn. Learning should be a creative, multidimensional process.
My teaching methods as a math tutor is to create positive learning environment, to build thinking skills, to develop confidence in problem solving, to create analytical thinking skills,to give opportunities to differentiate learning and to enable the children to apply the learned math concept into their real life situations.
I am a conceptual person. Love to go through the basics of learning without pressurizing kids. My idea is quite simple- You learn deep, don’t memorize. I don’t teach to do bring out the best result out of him. I try to make learning comfortable and easy so that the student can enjoy it.
I approach every topic I teach from an aspect of practicality by relating every concept to real world examples that student can understand. I've found that it makes the subject more exciting for students and student learn better when they can find applications of concepts to reality.
My teaching methods are more practical than theoretical, Because I think if student is enjoying what he/she is studying than they will not feel study as a burden on them and they will enjoy to learn more about the subject.
My teaching methods are gauging what a student knows and adding on to any misunderstandings the student has. I base my classes on spaced repetition as I believe that is one of the most effective ways to learn and review mater. I approach a subject with structure and flexibility and recommend the student to ask questions as frequently as possible to learn material.
My teaching methodology is problem based. I always try to relate coceptual knowledge with physical world. I always try to work hard on basic concepts and once they clear everything is easy to understand.
My methodology is to first demystify Mathematics, making my students fall in love with the subject. I assure my students that no question is stupid. I use things they can relate with to explain principles to my students. The excellent communication and interpersonal skills I have developed in my work years have helped me in bonding with people and transferring the knowledge intended.
My method of teaching would be the discussion method which I believe allows the student to point out areas I should focus on and it gives me a chance to gauge the student’s progress without having to test them
I approach my subjects with a flexible nature and accommodate to the pace and level of explanation needed by my students. My classes are meant for anyone from grades 1-9 and can include all academic subjects between grades 1-7.
My teaching methods are as simple as sugar. My objective is to make the topics easy to understand, represent various ways and techniques to get through it easily with concepts getting cleared.I'm a student too, so i'll be a cool friendly teacher and you surely gonna enjoy the time.
Methods I used are both personal coaching and online tutoring. Before start of tutoring, I make the student comfortable by giving him knowledge about subject and by knowing his strengths and weaknesses.
My teaching method is very simple and easy to understand. For example i explain things with real- world examples. After completing each topic I take a review class to make sure students get the complete understanding for the topic. Also I focus on mathematical proving solving so that creativity is developed.
I will provide every student with proper notes which they can refer to anytime for the topics they are having trouble in. Along with that i will provide each and every student with a proper practice which can help them achieve their scores.
My teaching method is I start from the basics and them make the student learn how he basics are modified to advanced so that in any situation the candidate will be able to use his/her knowledge of basics to solve all the equations
