I believe the most effective teaching method is adaptive to a student's own level. For junior students, I try to inspire them at a personal level. For senior students, I share problems from my own research to engage student for advanced learning. This method is further shaped by my consulting experience in industry.
I teach by examples and explanations. The best way to learn a subject or concept in my experience is through repetition, especially in sciences or mathematics. It is also very important to remember the simple basics of each subject to provide a full understanding of concepts, therefore I put a strong emphasis on mastering the basics.
I tailor the material covered based on what is being taught in class and after assessing what the student needs maximum help in. Regular tests will be conducted along with help with homework. Learning will be fun with me. Each class will start with a review of the past few sessions and will end with a summary of the concepts covered in the class and any doubts the student might have.
My teaching methods are oriented towards the improvement of a student's academic performance and vary accordingly. Most of my student requests are for mathematics and the Grades that I prefer to take are from 8th to 12th Grade in general.
My approach varies depending on the student’s needs and learning style. However my teaching philosophy is based on encouraging students to think for themselves, using real life examples wherever possible. I start from topics the students are comfortable with and move gradually towards to more complex questions as their confidence builds.
I am very flexible with the way student wants to learn. My objective is to make learning more fun and creative so that the concepts stick forever with the students. My teaching methods sometimes may look nonconventional, but trust me - It will be very valuable and will help you a lot in the future.
I teach based on each student speed and strength. I would start out at an average pace and observe to see how well they understand the subject and then raise or lower the speed and difficulty with respect to that.
I have taught university courses privately on many occasions. My teaching method could be considered to be very flexible and tailors to the situation of my student. I will use the textbook or lecture notes as the starting point for the general idea, and expand upon that idea with web sources and practice questions.
My teaching methods consist first in meeting the student to assess exactly on which topics to focus the tutoring session. This will allow me to prepare personalised notes and tests for future lessons. Every second lesson, a small test of 15-20 minutes will be done in order to assess the student progress and adapt next tutoring sessions.
In teaching physics, I prefer to make an accent on a good intuitive understanding of background (like classical mechanics, classical optics, Maxwell' equations) altogether with using of high math in physics. One of the specific subjects: discussion of the unexpected relation of physics with math theory of optimization, neural networks.
My teaching methods change as per students' requirement. Each student is different and needs different approaches. I believe to be flexible and organised in my teaching. I can teach students from the age of kindergarten to high school. I believe learning can be as interesting as made by the teacher.
In a training setting, when I get questions, I first try to figure out the 'why' of the question. Is the student missing information because the theory was not understood or studied effectively. Is it a matter of skill or experience in the case of solving for instance a mathematical problem. The 'why' answer determines the next steps in the training.
My teaching methods are based around facilitating learning. Teaching in the traditional sense from my experience is not effective, and students tend to learn best when they are asked questions rather than told answers. I wish to help the student learn the confidence to be their own tutor.
My teaching method focuses greatly on grasping the concepts of the subject. I strongly believe that once you understand the concept behind the material, learning becomes much easier than trying to memorize and cram information. On top of that, it will stay in your memory.
I base my teaching on the students learning style(visual, auditory, etc), I always try to make learning enjoyable by going outside the box and textbook. With my university experience, I focus on skills that are most useful for my student's success in high school and post-secondary education. I always emphasize the importance of remembering past concepts and continuing building on them.
My teaching methodology is pretty friendly i like to relate the physics problems to the practical life so that its very easy for students to grasp an remember for long time Just like if i want student to teach about gravity i would drop an apple and would tell him how it works
My teaching methods are graphical and innovative with fun games regarding the subject which helps students to learn very fast.I always try to help students understand the basics of a topic which is most important thing regarding any subject because if a student understands the basics or root of a topic its very easy for them to crack difficult problems regarding the topic.
My teaching style is a combination of learner center and teacher center methodology. I start our class with a light quiz to find out your level and then construct your knowledge step by step based on that to make sure you are on the right track. Depending on your objective, I add discipline and fun not to be bored with many subject related activities.
I'm a Mechanical Engineering Student, proficient in Math & Physics. I have prior experience in tutoring high school students. Through this experience, I have learned to adaptively change my teaching style based on the way the student learns. I'm able to explain the same concepts in a multitude of different ways. This makes sure the student understands the concept perfectly.
I approach my tutoring sessions with structure. I look at the questions the student has difficulty with and I provide examples similar to those questions with step by step explanations of how to solve them. I am a good communicator, am patient and use different approaches to make sure concepts are understood.
My teaching methods are very understandable I base my classes on student prospective and I approach subjects with structure/flexibility.
My methodology varies per individual: Initially, I engage in conversation with the student with the purpose of understanding their knowledge, strengths and weaknesses on the topic of discussion. Then, based upon the provided information, I formulate sequential and gradual lessons to help them start from what they know towards what they wish to know.
My approach is the concepts should be understood and not to be memorized. I never memorized anything myself and will not let my students do that. Story telling approach helps student to remember and understand things in an efficient manner.
Applying latest teaching techniques I conduct lessons using art of observation, questioning, and thinking based on flexible, innovative and safe learning environment. Teaching is so rewarding and gives me a sense that I am making the world a better place.
I base my teaching on the most relevant experience the student has. I understand the psychology of a individual difference so I treat each student differently. No matter how trivial a content may seem,I always assume the student does not know. This very assumption prevents me from skipping some very salient information.
My teaching method is home tutoring. I follow a flexible method and adapt to the way that an individual student suits the most. Keeping an open mind helps the students to open up to me and enrich themselves with proper education.
I always try to plan my lessons for the students ahead of time and proceed in a systematic manner. My method of teaching is explaining through real life examples so that it is easier for the students to grasp the concept very quickly. After the explanation of each topic, I give students simple exercises in order for me to judge them if they understood the concept completely.
My teaching methodology is lucid. I base my class on concepts building and practical applications of the theoretical stuff. Grade 8 to grade 12 are the foundation classes which help a student to further build a career of his own choice. If required I also refer the videos to demonstrate the particular concept.
My methods include starting from very basic fundamental concepts and explaining them from the scratch with practically relevant examples which will give a student a very string foundation in the concepts and further control over the subject. As the course progresses, more advanced and challenging problems will be introduced which I believe is necessary for every student to face to become confident.
I base my classes on three very important factors: 1. My students personal needs and the need to succeed in with their tests and homeworks 2. I also use many visual materials to understand the underlying geometry of every problem 3. It is also crucial to learn how to write and show the solutions to every problem in a friendly and organised manner.
