My teaching method which has resulted in long-lasting learning for most of my students is to get them involved in the teaching process. For example, when teaching energy-related formulas and solving the questions, instead of me explaining the whole solution, I let the students try different solutions until they get the correct one.
As I believe that every student learns differently, I adjust my teaching method to suit each individual's needs. A typical class would start with me asking what the student would like to achieve during this time, and adjust my curriculum accordingly. I would alternate teaching points with practice questions to consolidate the information.
I start with basics and go to more details so it can give you a quick review and one can relate things pretty well in a step wise step manner. I am extremely with students who do take time to understand some of the topics and concepts.
My teaching methods are based on my students learning styles (visual/auditory/both). Accordingly, I employ everyday examples analogies and illustrations. I ensure my students have a foundational knowledge base before asking them to apply their learnings. Tutoring is a two-way street in my opinion, I want my students to be able to express if they are having difficulty.
We learn theory at school but often the teachers don’t explain what this is relevant to in the real world. But this relevance is exactly why we study and educate our children, because we want them to be fully prepared for the real world.
My teaching methods are engaging and enriching. While I am flexible to the specific needs of the student, I make sure that every student understands the foundations of science before methodologically building upon it to ensure depth and breadth of understanding that will help them in their school settings but also set them up for future pursuits of chemistry.
My teaching method is based on 'constructivism' which focuses on the fact that all knowledge in a class in constructed in the mind of the learner. It is the job of the instructor to ensure that the students are faithfully reconstructing the concepts that they are taught.
My lessons are based completely upon your needs. Whether you just need some review for a big exam, or you need to learn the entire course, I am here to help! I will steadily and clearly plan what I need to teach, and I will always respect the pace at which you learn. My schedule is flexible and I am a pretty easy going person.
My teaching methodology revolves around the "Pygmalion effect", as I believe that others' expectations (in this case, the instructor/teacher) of a target person affects that of the target person's said performance.
I have previously worked as a chemistry and physics tutor at UC Irvine during my undergraduate career for the UCI Learning Academic Resource Center (LARC). I've taught multiple groups of students and was in charge of organizing worksheets and problem sets to reinforce concepts discussed by their professors.
My methodology will vary between individuals, however, I am a firm believer that the basics or core concepts in any subject should be mastered and completely understood before moving on to more difficult problems. Many of the senior sciences and mathematics require students understand concepts that were learned previously in order to build upon them in future lessons.
I base my lessons specifically on the student and focus the teaching methods on exactly what the student needs, including their preferred learning method. I like to integrate theory with examples as well as a significant amount of practice for the student to which I will provide feedback. I am a strong believer in the importance of positivity which I will integrate into my teaching.
For teaching I always try to relate content to examples from different life experiences and surroundings so that student can easily understand. Understanding the student, their abilities and their interests is always my priority. Developing good relation is first step to success.
A teaching method comprises the principles and methods used by teachers to enable student learning. The seven principles are based on my research on good teaching and learning.
I prefer one on one personal tutoring style. I mainly tutored college and high school students from multiple locations. I am a bit on the casual side in interaction. I prefer to first assess the weakness and then help the student but fixing the foundations that are lacking. I use analogies and step by step thought process.
When I am in class, I sometimes have a hard time understanding everything that is being covered because the professor complicates their explanations. So I have a way of simplifying the concepts covered in class to facilitate my studying. Therefore, I would like to share this simplified study method.
I help students, from high school to university, where we review the subject by bringing a new vision. We return to the principles and add exercises of gradual intensity. Do not be afraid to ask questions, it's the key to success.
I have a BScH in Molecular Biology and Genetics. I have worked in a number of lab settings doing immunological work as well as basic cell research. I left the lab to work as a medic in the military and was trained as a tactical paramedic.
My goal is the highest grade. My teaching style is based on adult education theory which combines how to understand the subject very well and get inspired to study it and a systematic way to remember each and every bit of info. This include studying together and answering questions together. Mock exams, commenting, reviewing and so on.
My Chemistry classes are very individual and depend on student. The main motto: Keep calm and Chemistry is easy! It is very important to understand before remembering! I try to present all topics easily with interesting and funny facts, examples from life.
I believe that students must to be made self sufficient through coaching and encouragement so that they can develop their own cognitive abilities to learn and progress independently in the future. It is my goal to mentor students to achieving their own brand of personal success.
I usually teach everything with an example that can be easily understood, A typical class is remembering what was reviewed in the last lesson, and then building up more a topic. My experience and practice of many concepts on me will be useful to build a strong foundation on the field.
I am good at explaining difficult concepts to students with varies methods. I do expect an effort on the student to prepare specific issues before each lesson so we can work efficiently. I believe learning should be fun and hard work.
I base my teaching on the text book, teacher's notes and life examples making sure you understand 100%. My typical class consists of 15 students. What makes me special is my ease at making you comfortable with the material.
My teaching methods include notes and/or videos of lectures, sample questions, and practice questions. Every session will be learner-centred, content-focused and could also be an interactive/participative involved discussion. I am willing to modify my style depending on the need of my student.
For most students, I like to provide an overall review of the subject matter before starting each lesson. I'm always open for questions and encourage discussion during and after the lesson. It is crucial that my students have a complete understanding of the subject and I won't let up until they feel comfortable with the material.
My teaching methods includes every single details of the concept so that the student can learn to the depth of it.I start with giving the details about the concepts and i prepare little quiz at the end of every session so that to make sure that the student learned about it and have no confusions.
I am very approachable when it comes to teaching. I always tend to repeat the lessons whenever a student gets a hard time understanding it. I give convenient or easier ways to remember concepts. I tend to be very generous with my students.
As a teenager who understands how hard it can be to grasp concepts of math, I provide my students with detailed and thorough explinations of lessons. This is to ensure that they fully understand the process of math and the steps behind each answer.
To be sure of the quality of our tutors and teachers and their lessons, we collect the reviews of former students.

Perfect! My experience with Ziyi, was pretty damn amazing. She modified her lessons to fit my personality quite well. I'm bit of a talker so her way to keep me focused on the task at hand was like me go on a tangent for a little bit (like a minute). She also...
Perfect! Fantastic teacher with a great personality. He has made my grade 12 university chemistry a breeze and my grade 12 advanced functions class very easy as well. 10/10
Perfect! Noor is a great Teacher, with lots of knowledge in science and a very kind.
Perfect! She's an excellent tutor and explain's all small details needed to do the Physics problems. She also makes the lessons interesting and fun to listen to by making connections and talking about real-life applications.
Perfect! My daughter was struggling with the transition to high school and specifically Grade 9 Science class. Tiffany has been tutoring her in our home and has, on several occasions, offered extra time when tests were coming up. Tiffany works directly with...
