I always find joy in teaching,so I want my students to find the joy of knowing something new. I like to teach school and high school level students but I am comfortable with college level students too. As an international engineering student, my base of math, physics and chemistry is really strong. So I give priority on clearing the concept.
I teach by examples and explanations. The best way to learn a subject or concept in my experience is through repetition, especially in sciences or mathematics. It is also very important to remember the simple basics of each subject to provide a full understanding of concepts, therefore I put a strong emphasis on mastering the basics.
In a training setting, when I get questions, I first try to figure out the 'why' of the question. Is the student missing information because the theory was not understood or studied effectively. Is it a matter of skill or experience in the case of solving for instance a mathematical problem. The 'why' answer determines the next steps in the training.
I'm here to help you with any and all challenges you are facing academically, but also to identify areas of improvement you may not be aware of. While my sessions would be geared towards individuals looking for assistance with post-secondary biochemistry and writing work, I am more than capable of providing assistance with high school mathematics and chemistry topics.
It can be difficult to want to learn a subject you don't enjoy, but sometimes we need to learn it to get the credit! My approach is, therefore, to try my best to make it as engaging and practical as possible and I approach each session with patience and attention to detail.
I am happy to give one-on-one or group lessons. My teaching method involves explaining the theoretical aspects of the subject but also include interesting examples to highlight were the content has been applied in real life applications. This would be followed by working through calculations and/or examples.
Through my many years of tutoring I have learnt how to build a multi-faceted approach focusing on visual and verbal learning, using diagrams and demonstrations to allow students to reach the best understanding they can. I am patient, outgoing, and enthusiastic, and use real life examples and 'fun facts!' to keep students engaged and interested in their subject.
When I am teaching a new chapter, I will clarify the purpose and learning goals so they know what they should have learnt at the end of the class. I will use questions that can stimulate response and invite students’ comments on the ideas that I am presenting. I will help students to master the language of Chemistry and trains students to find answers and solutions through exploration.
My teaching methods are very simple. Firstly i try to communicate with the student by staying in his shoes. So that, I can understand where the student actually lacks his abilities. Then i try to explain the complex things in easy way by breaking into small pieces that is easily understood by the student.
My teaching style accommodates diverse age groups and students with different learning styles. I always strive for creative and clear communication between myself and my students. There is immeasurable value in being able to understand and remember technical concepts and I always emphasize this when planning my lessons.
I adapt my teaching to the subject and the level of the student. I can help you understand your lectures, solve your tutorials or assignments. I have in class teaching experience at college level. Classes are meant for university/college level (or preparation for).
Over the years I learned how to make chemistry fun for my students. In the process, it gave me great pleasure to observe how many students would transition from shaky chemistry knowledge skills towards a solid base, which allowed to them to continue to the next level.
Firstly, I try to identify where students are struggling before making a study plan that will help them to achieve the grades that they wish to achieve. I focus on comprehension rather than memorization.
I base my classes on your level of understanding of chemistry and start from there. We explore the problems that are holding you back and work together to achieve a mutual understanding of the answers and how we achieved them. We then review the process in achieving the answers to make sure that you understand completely how the answers were reached and try to have fun throughout the process.
My teaching methods are mainly based on the lecture and discussion, problem solving and practice. A good combination of coach style and activity style which promotes self-learning and helps students to develop critical thinking skills and retain knowledge that leads to self-actualisation and includes multimedia presentations, activities, and demonstrations which makes the lecture more interesting.
"Come, Gain knowledge, Achieve your Career Result". I am pursuing my master's degree in Mechanical form University of Windsor. The classes are meant for students studying from Grade-1 to Grade-10. My teaching will be normal with some practical examples and some self-work to gather more knowledge. Teaching will be linear and in one-to-one correspondence.
I find that the best teachers try to explain a question in the way they understand it best. After if the student does not understand the teacher should then explain the question in a different manner and repeat this as many different times as need be until the student understands. I believe in leading a student to the answer and never giving it to them.
I have previously tutored privately and have also been involved in the founding of an AP tutoring company. I rely heavily on practice problems and learning the fundamentals for mathematical/physic's class's.
I am looking to help students in any area of math, including students in first year university and college, as well as students at any age in grade school. In my lessons I would like to show students the values of learning and create a good relationship between myself and the tutee.
I focus on the student learning style. I am very good at detecting when a student is not understanding a topic, so I change the approach accordingly. The lesson is very flexible. Usually, the outcome of the lesson is the development of a framework to tackle all possible kinds of problems that the student might face on a certain topic.

A typical class with me is focusing on understanding theories and methods, and moving away from memorization. I like to use examples you can visualize and explain the purpose behind problems. In Math, I like to work through word problems and steps.
As a teacher, I consider two factors. These are PATIENCE and UNDERSTANDING. I prefer visual and hands-on teaching method rather than audio approach. My understanding remains useless, until and unless I recover what have taught. My target is to get the residual knowledge from students.
I like to assess my student to see what type of way they enjoy studying and then create a unique plan for them using what they enjoy as a basis. I try my best to ensure the student fully understands the material and is satisfied with their education.
Engaging Secondary School Teacher with more than 12 years experience of teaching Science including Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Environmental Sciences. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the subject to create execute and analyse students’ assessments. Hardworking and trustworthy educator, who strives to meet the needs of the students.
My name is Peter Vlasveld, I recently graduated from University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Philosophy. I teach High School level Math, University level Logic, University level Programming, High School and University level Sciences including Physics, Chemistry and Biology. I am just easy-going, fun, and I love to teach.
I prefer to teach students in small groups because i can easily focus on every child. I also prefer to teach students in easiest way by providing them examples on daily life. I teach them more approachable behaviour so they can easily discuss their problems with me.
My teaching methods are very personalized, and I feel that a good tutor must adapt to the student, not the other way around! Chemistry is an abstract subject which, I believe, is easier to understand through a combination of different approaches.
I like to link the real world with engineering problems. I believe students learn more when they know how that information can be used in the real life. Also presenting the same idea in different formats, help students choose the method that better work for them.
Science learning is important subjects in life, wither for post secondary study or for life living , keep learning since it is important assets to keep in your life journey, you need it for day to day issues, keep it up !
