I teach by examples and explanations. The best way to learn a subject or concept in my experience is through repetition, especially in sciences or mathematics. In a training setting, when I get questions, I first try to figure out the 'why' of the question. Is the student missing information because the theory was not understood or studied effectively. Is it a matter of skill or experience in the case of solving for instance a mathematical problem. The 'why' answer determines the next steps in the training.
