I enjoy bringing a fun yet structured approach to my English sessions.
My teaching methods vary depending on the student's needs. I like to begin by reviewing a piece of your writing together. I can identify issues with grammar and structure that need to be strengthened. Then, I tailor a grammar lesson or develop writing exercises specific to you.
My teaching methods are collaborative and creative. I want to engage the student in each stage of their writing process and encourage them to be an active agent in their learning development. I want to build a personal relationship with each student and get to know their unique strengths and challenges.
I teach grades 2-12, including university and adult students. I teach all elementary subjects and upper level English, History, Sciences, and Humanities. I also help with SAT's and general test prep. I teach in a variety of ways using different sources of media.
Student oriented tutoring. Geared toward student needs. Tutoring at facilitating independent learning. I am committed to merging student needs with developmental stages of learning, through scaffolding.
I hope to create a unique experience geared to my student's needs and goals. No two students are alike and I strive to assess and identify individual's strengths in order to shape the learning process to suit these strengths and therefore aid in success.
My teaching methods are based off understanding how everyone learns differently. A typical class from me , would start out with a simple introduction with the students , or greetings. Then I would begin by going into our lesson for the day , stopping frequently so I know everyone understands and doesn't have any questions .
I have been a teacher for nearly 20 years and I have worked with many different methodologies. I am totally flexible to work with any methodology that suits students better. However, in general I am super organized and I like to provide students with a lot of structure, specially adults who have less time and need a more objective approach.
Teaching is my passion and interest, and have enough experience in academic teaching. For, instance, at the 1990`s, I taught English grammar, reading, writing, listening and speaking as a second language for Afghan Refugees in Peshawar, and at the end of course, many students were able to get jobs in NGOs or work as interpreters with international organizations.
I approach my subject with flexibility; first, I ask the student what specifically they are struggling with and, depending on the age/subject, look at samples of their work. Then I go through examples and exercises with them to ensure they understand what is being asked. Finally, I work with them to ensure they understand the subject clearly.
First time tutor, but eager to share my knowledge with people who need it. I won't set rigid guidelines for how many classes we'll do, or how long we'll do them. Sometimes, an hour or two can solve someone's problem. Sometimes, it takes many hours for weeks on end. I always prefer a naturalistic approach - when you get it, you get it. However long it takes, I'll keep working with you.
My teaching methods are focused primarily on the students understanding and then furthering the knowledge. Whatever teaching method works best for the student is the approach I take.
I base my teaching on english as an art form. I incorporate lessons on grammar, punctuation, spelling, sentence structure and essay writing.
I approach writing with fluidity and creativity. Even strict and rigid written pieces have room for creativity. Everyone has a voice and style when it comes to writing, and I love to help people find theirs.
My teaching style is flexible to any learning style and focuses on using the best method of teaching for each individual.
I will work with the best teaching method that I can for each student. I want to understand your learning style to have effective transfer of knowledge. Are you an oral or visual learner? This will allow for best one-on-one teaching/learning. I can use a variety of techniques - PowerPoint, Google docs, Google Hangouts, etc. I am open to all learning tools/options.
I am psychologist, master and PhD in Linguistics from the Federal University of Parana. The teaching methodology for development of writing is based on the individual level of each student.

I build the classes according to the needs of the student. I bring the material (both done by me and ready) and try to understand as much as possible the student's difficulty in achieving his goals. My first class is diagnostic, and during it I try to get to know the student.
My classes are focused on showing the student how to build a good essay. In addition, I try to guide the student's learning so that the student identifies his mistakes and correctness, so that one day he can be sure of writing.

Also, in Portuguese and languages - Spanish and English, I work with the written part and notebooks.
The classes will focus on the student's knowledge in an objective and malleable manner, guaranteeing the possibility of a class specially made for the student in order to make him feel more comfortable and ensure a better absorption of the knowledge that will be taught.
