I believe there is no one size fit all. Every single individual is different and therefore a different approach to each one is necessary. Making the "Learning process" fun and interesting is my main approach. I believe its a two way process between students and teachers , where both learn and grow. Its vital to find out the obstacles and work a way around it.
I believe that language skills can be improved majorly through conversations and reading. I was encouraged by my parents to read a lot as a child, and I noticed how much I was able to improve my writing skills and vocabulary. I will engage students in conversations and provide reading materials so that we can analyse and understand words and sentences that may be difficult to comprehend.
I approach teaching my classes with a certain degree of flexibility. I like to structure my lessons in ways that will accommodate the specific needs of each student. For Academic English, I can help on improving skills such as analysis, writing, or structuring and editing papers. For ESL, I am trained to instruct on areas such as grammar, vocabulary and conversation.
