About Vassiliki
My goal is to not only help you understand science and biology, my goal is to teach you the skills of how to perceive concepts in the sciences. The approach you take when studying to grasp a concept is as important as the subject matter itself. I will guide you through the steps needed to learn whatever it is you are struggling with. It can be difficult and overwhelming sometimes but it is important to follow a system and I am here to help you with that. I am patient and more than happy to answer any questions you might have along the way.

My style of tutoring for high school or middle school students focuses on making a plan that caters to the individuals' needs, strengths, and weaknesses. My goal is to tailor the students' learning experience to the objective of the class or test while making it interesting for them. In the case of biology, I like to take a narrative style, presenting the work and theory as a story that flows from one principle to the next making it easy, enjoyable, and memorable. During high school, it is important for students to follow the requirements of their classes without loosing the educational purpose of the material being taught. Focusing on the learning can have a great positive impact on the pursuit of their academic achievements.
