About Neutro
Neutral Crew
cultural producer
Professor German Collado
Introduction
Neutro Crew was born as a group of young people with a different cultural view, this view is influenced by a new trend and at the same time for reasons of generating cultural expressions.
The group creates a base in dance with which it creates links with different branches of art, all related to the urban movement called hip hop.
As the group did not have references of this movement, nor with the material, with the passage of time and creativity each one was generating their own artistic path and was influenced by local and international artists.
This led to the group not only having dancers but also painters, writers, authors and musicians.
In urban jargon these artists are called rappers, bboys or bgirls, graffiti artists and DJs, among others.
Today the organization has more than 10 years of experience, managing to implement experience and theory to new generations of cultural managers.
Development and its function
The implementation of the work is divided into 4 four themes as it refers to hip hop culture.
The first and where we have more experience is Dance and its function in the learning processes. We have different stages in which we can highlight the motor knowledge of our body and its handling and in which they lead to the early practice of these.
Dance itself makes this process adaptive to each person and benefits the physical and emotional time of each participant.
The second is graffiti where the implementation of drawing techniques, colors and the development of an own concept of art is achieved.
This is taught to generate sketches and then put them on the wall, in addition to the study of typography and without neglecting the knowledge of painters, muralists and creatives.
The third is the Rapper or freestyle, which in a simple concept fulfills the function of a payador who creates rhymes on various themes with a musical rhythm.
In this element, much emphasis is placed on writing for artists who create songs and who freestanding, the work of using momentary responses and vocal work for a better pronunciation of these is implemented.
In this branch the reading and pronunciation of words is implemented a lot.
The last one is the DJ who generates musical rhythms through the trays where the sounds are reproduced, he creates new sounds using different elements of the console such as cutting and pasting fragments of other songs.
In the latter, everything related to new tools to generate music and everything related to musical times, frequencies and base development is taught.
Implementation
The organization does not have a physical place, with which this has a counterpart, from the organizational aspect it is very difficult not to have its own space and not have a point of reference.
But as I have already mentioned, it is a counterpart, this leads us to work in various places and with various organizations and institutions.
With which the implementation is provided in various sectors, these are generally low-income or marginalized.
Our workshops are offered to all ages and all people without discriminating against anyone. The basis on which this movement is based is respect.
Depending on the agreement that is generated with the organization and the elements with which we have, the training of the elements already developed in the previous point will be provided.
The development of these works not only has classes, but also with an accompaniment from the teachers.
What happens when they do not have the help of an organism that offers them a space?
The organization was born in a public space with which we understand and we are very clear that this is the mother root of this organism.
At the same time, we are clear that in public spaces we do not have elements for a development suitable for students, likewise it is the place where we most reach the people we want to reach.
Not only the idea is to create artists but to provide them with tools for a better life, that the one who dances tomorrow can teach or take a career related to sports as a physical education teacher, the rapper as a writer in a newspaper and so on.
I clarify this point to remove those prejudices from art.
