About Lacey
I am a dedicated piano tutor with 12 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Musicology focused on Piano History. My teaching emphasizes jazz piano improvisation, comping techniques, and building an advanced harmonic vocabulary. I believe in a comprehensive approach that includes jazz theory, ear training for complex chords, transcription, and rhythmic precision. This helps students connect theory to creative expression. I have worked with Early Intermediate learners, Advanced Intermediate students, and professional jazz musicians. Lessons are tailored to your individual musical goals.
