My teaching methods are simple. I explain things in the most simplest way to get points across, then elaborate once the concept is understood. I help with remembering Vocabulary and being creative.
I enjoy using humour and real-life examples to explain/teach concepts...and boy, do I have stories! I think it is important for students to be taught with the "full circle" approach. Only teaching bits and pieces of a concept or problem only promotes memorization, and can hinder the student in the long run. Keeping an open mind when teaching is essential for the success of any student and teacher.
I work around the individual needs and requirements of a particular student. every lesson plan is hands-on, and tailored in a way to be most productive for the individual. I will create a syllabus for the student, and I always work at a pace/rate in which I feel the student can progress at a successful rate, in a safe and encouraging environment.
I would start by going over the basics and learning what you know. We would start with your knife skills and start by teaching you common cuts such as a julienne or brunoise. From knife skills we would work towards sauces and go over the mother sauces.
I completed my graduate studies with an A-average. Research papers were a major part of every single course, and due to this consistent demand for written papers, I created a formula for myself that has worked very well. My main goal as a teacher is to work together with the students in order to help them achieve their desired goals. I plan to do this by asking the students what they hope to achieve from this class and teach based on those desires. My classes are open to anyone who wants to learn about Sociology.
My teaching method is to guide students through their practice, not to force anyone or guilt anyone into postures. This practice is for each individual student to find their own strength and comfort. I guide students through a pre-planned set of poses (a sequence), but always allow for modifications and changes through out the class to match how each individual feels in that moment.

I also stress the importance of practicing at home.
My classes are meant for first-year university students or high school students. I take an interdisciplinary approach to teaching, making connections between various fields of study. I especially enjoy tutoring because it allows me to tailor the methodology and content to match the learners’ needs. Mine is a flexible approach that builds on the learners’ strengths and works towards remediating weaknesses. I find that teaching in context works best for my learners. For example, I find that students learn best by doing.
I like to teach my students in any of the subjects in very simple ways, and also doing lots of practices. working with graphs also is another way that is very useful to help students understand lessons. I teach to students that learn in different styles, the visual learner, the hands-on learner, the kinesthetic learner and the auditory learner. I believe in the interactive collaborative method of teaching by asking important questions and processing the answers. Asking higher order questions that assist the learner to acquire skills, resources and knowledge.
