I prefer to approach the subject with structure and be guided by a curriculum that meets my students' academic goals and specifically catered to their learning styles. So as a tutor, I may have varying teaching styles or pace for different students.
I had worked with a bank for 7+ years as risk quantitative analyst primarily focusing on credit risk and external risks (e.g. economic slowdowns or political rifts that might negatively affect clients' revenue potential and thereby worsen their probabilities of default).
Laline was a wonderful tutor who went extremely into depth to address all my queries and knowledge gaps in Economics. This sessions enabled me to notice several underlying conceptual mistakes I made, and she was able to go deep on how to split up the examination questions into more manageable chunks for proper time management. Furthermore, she went through several mock papers to ensure I had a clear understanding of which questions were more efficient to do, along with what to note down to ensure I would attain the most marks. This preparation for my exams has allowed me to attain a grade far higher than I would have gotten otherwise. Can never recommend her enough! 5 stars! :)
