About Megan
Hi! My name is Megan, and I have been teaching first grade in Virginia for 3 years. My fourth year, I took a step back to pursue my masters in education leadership at the High Tech High Graduate School of Education. Teaching is my passion, and nothing is more exciting than watching a child learn and see their confidence grow in their abilities. I cannot wait to meet more students!

Learning at the elementary level should be fun and should include my students' passions and interests as much as possible. I try to do this when I can to make sure students are engaged and ready to learn. I have assessment tools ready to go to track student progress as well. I will support and challenge my students academically while also nurturing their social-emotional needs at the same time.
