About Bella
As a flute instructor I bring a deep respect for your time, experience, and aspirations. Many of my students are retirees, working professionals, or lifelong learners who never had the chance to pursue music earlier. I believe it’s never too late to start learning, and that the flute offers a beautiful and accessible way to enrich your life. My teaching is flexible and intuitive—I listen closely to your goals, whether that’s reading music, playing by ear, or mastering a favorite song. Lessons are structured around technique, tone, and expression, but I incorporate creative elements like improvisation, breath-centered relaxation, and listening games to keep you engaged and connected. I also offer feedback through audio and video recordings so you can hear your progress and build confidence in your abilities. My goal is not just to teach you how to play, but to give you the tools and encouragement to enjoy music as a lifelong companion.

My flute instruction style combines the best of both worlds: the discipline and beauty of classical flute training with the flexibility and personalization of modern music education. I specialize in working with all the age group, who are exploring music for the first time or returning to it after many years. I integrate innovative methods like breathing-centered tone development, virtual performance journals, and digital metronome tools that adapt to each student's tempo. My teaching includes ear-training through call-and-response, playing by ear, and even creating simple improvisations to strengthen musical intuition. I don’t just teach flute—I help students reconnect with their creativity and curiosity. What sets my teaching apart is my ability to simplify complex concepts without dumbing them down. I break down rhythm, technique, and phrasing into small, achievable steps that build confidence and keep learning fun. Whether you’re preparing to join a community band or simply want to enjoy music for personal fulfillment, I provide a customized, empowering path to progress.
