About Bruno
Teaching guitar over the past 8 years has been a truly enriching experience, largely because of the unique journeys every student embarks upon. I recognize that each learner has their own style, pace, and musical preferences, which drives me to craft lessons that are both flexible and effective. My approach combines building a solid technical foundation—covering finger placement, chord transitions, rhythm, and timing—with encouraging musical creativity and expression. I believe that understanding the theory behind the music makes playing more meaningful, so I integrate practical theory lessons seamlessly with hands-on practice. I’ve had the pleasure of working with students of all ages and skill levels, and one of the highlights was mentoring a young guitarist who overcame initial coordination challenges to confidently perform solo pieces at local recitals. Watching students develop confidence, musicality, and joy in playing is what inspires me to keep teaching. I also promote improvisation and songwriting, giving students tools to create their own music and explore the guitar beyond just replication. By using modern technology like backing tracks, loopers, and recording apps, I help students make their practice sessions dynamic and rewarding. Above all, I create a supportive, patient environment where mistakes are embraced as part of the learning process. Whether a student aims to play for fun, perform live, or compose original music, I am dedicated to helping them achieve their goals and foster a lifelong passion for the guitar.

To me, teaching Guitar is about forming a relationship with music that feels authentic. It’s not about becoming perfect or impressing anyone—it’s about building a connection between you and the instrument that you can grow with. I take the time to get to know what music moves you and what kind of player you want to be. That could mean learning your favorite songs, writing your own, or simply finding joy in playing freely at home. We don’t follow a rigid program. Instead, we use your musical interests as a foundation for learning the techniques, theory, and skills you need. I want your progress to feel personal and alive, not like ticking boxes in a method book. Motivation isn’t something that just magically appears—it’s something we create by setting up lessons that feel relevant and rewarding. I try to keep momentum going by making sure you always know what you’re working on and why it matters. When you hit a wall, I guide you through it by helping you understand the challenge from multiple angles—musically, physically, and emotionally. We don't just fix problems temporarily. I teach you how to think through the issue and give you tools that empower you in the long run. Every student gets honest and respectful feedback from me. I’m here to encourage your progress and give you clarity on what’s working and what could improve.
I never want students to feel judged or rushed—just supported. And I always remain flexible. Some people need visual explanations; others learn best by sound or by feel. I switch between approaches until it clicks for you. In addition to Guitar, I love helping students with songwriting, theory, performance skills, and even creative routines. Music is a broad journey, and I’m here for every part of it. No matter your pace or style, my goal is to make Guitar a meaningful part of your life, something that lifts you up and grows with you.
