About Leah

With 3 years of experience, I teach guitar as both an instrument and a creative language. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Composition with a Guitar Emphasis. I also compose and perform regularly, which keeps my teaching fresh and inspired. Music has always been more than a skill to me—it is a lifelong practice. My teaching centers on acoustic fingerstyle and classical guitar. These styles challenge students to play with nuance and expression. I have worked with absolute beginners as well as advanced performers. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s personal goals. My approach combines technique, musicality, and creativity. I encourage students to explore their own style while mastering the basics. My teaching style is supportive and patient. Above all, I want students to fall in love with the beauty and discipline of guitar. Together, we create music that resonates deeply.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is about making the guitar a passport to many musical worlds. I introduce students to genres like funk, metal, country, and jazz. Each one has its own unique energy and style. By exploring them, you’ll learn how to adapt your techniques to fit different sounds. Lessons always mix structure with freedom. We work on exercises that strengthen skill while leaving space for creativity. I enjoy working with teens who want to create something bold and new. I also support recording artists in finding flexibility for their projects. Each session is tailored to help you grow while keeping things enjoyable. Mistakes are treated as opportunities, not failures. My method encourages expression, not just repetition. Over time, you’ll become versatile, confident, and inspired. The guitar has endless possibilities, and I’m here to help you discover them.
