About Dane

I’m a singing tutor with over 10 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre Voice. I offer personalized lessons for students at every stage—whether you're in school, college, or pursuing music as an adult or professional. My teaching spans across styles like classical, pop, movie songs, and folk singing. I focus on helping students develop not just vocal skills, but confidence and musical expression. Every voice is unique, and I take great care in nurturing that individuality through safe, effective vocal techniques. My lessons are interactive, supportive, and always tailored to your goals and pace. I also help students strengthen ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory, making each session well-rounded and musically enriching. Whether you're preparing for a performance or just beginning your journey, you’ll find a space where your voice can truly grow. I believe in building a strong foundation while keeping the joy in singing alive. My approach encourages creativity, exploration, and vocal health. About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on vocal wellness, mindfulness, and building a voice that lasts. For both solo singers and ensemble performers, I guide students in creating a healthy and joyful singing practice. Each session begins with gentle warm-ups to awaken the voice, followed by exercises for breath control and placement.

We focus on hydration habits, posture, and mindful breathwork to support vocal ease and emotional calm. I emphasize healthy vocal placement to avoid strain and encourage natural tone production. Whether you're leading a congregation or growing into your solo voice, you'll learn to sing with strength and clarity.

I recommend using vocal tracking apps to monitor progress, mindfulness timers to set a focused practice rhythm, and guided breathing tools to reduce anxiety. These tools help keep both voice and mind balanced. We work slowly and consistently, always respecting your vocal pace.

My goal is to help you build confidence and find peace in your singing journey. With care, joy, and awareness, your voice will grow strong and expressive over time. Singing should feel good — inside and out.
