About Sabet

My journey as a pianist has always been driven by storytelling. With more than 8 years of teaching and an Advanced Diploma in Piano Performance, I understand the deep connection between strong technique and expressive playing. A good pianist knows the notes — a great pianist knows how to shape them. That’s what I aim to instill in my students: the skills to be technically excellent and the courage to be emotionally honest. From our first lessons, we focus on posture, fingering, hand coordination, and a clear understanding of music theory. But technique, in my studio, is always tied to musical meaning. We’ll discuss what a piece evokes, how dynamics and articulation shape emotion, and how performance can be both precise and deeply personal. I create a safe, welcoming space for students to explore who they are as musicians. Some come with dreams of conservatory auditions; others just want to play their favorite songs beautifully. Wherever you’re headed, I’m here to support you with a structured, yet flexible approach that honors your individuality.

About the lesson

I am passionate about helping students develop both technical skills and emotional expression through music. I believe that understanding the emotional content of a piece is as important as mastering its technical aspects.

In my lessons, I focus on building a strong foundation in music theory and technique, ensuring that students have the tools they need to succeed. At the same time, I emphasize the importance of musicality, encouraging students to explore the emotions and stories behind the music they play. This holistic approach fosters a deeper connection to the music and enhances performance quality.

Confidence is a vital component of musical expression. I create a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to take risks and express themselves freely. Through regular performance opportunities and positive reinforcement, I help students build the self-assurance needed to perform with conviction and emotion.

Each lesson is tailored to the individual student's needs and goals. I take the time to understand their musical interests and challenges, and design a personalized plan that promotes steady progress and creative exploration. This individualized approach ensures that students remain engaged and motivated throughout their musical journey.
