About Ciela

As a violin tutor with over 7 years of experience and a Graduate Diploma in Violin Pedagogy, I take a holistic approach to teaching. My method blends performance, theory, and aural skills in one learning path. Students preparing for music theory exams benefit from targeted lessons that integrate harmony and analysis with violin practice. We explore scales, intervals, and harmonic structures through practical bowing and fingering techniques. This bridges the gap between theory and performance. I also help students develop sight reading and ear training skills to boost overall fluency. My teaching style is clear, structured, and adaptable to each student’s pace. We work toward precision and expression in equal measure. I believe every lesson should deepen both technical ability and musical understanding. About the lesson

Sight-reading is at the heart of my violin teaching approach. I train students to read ledger lines accurately, handle tricky rhythms, and follow multi-part scores. My lessons are step-by-step, ensuring steady progress. We focus on visual-to-finger coordination until your reaction feels automatic. I’m especially skilled at helping The Musical Theatre Enthusiast and The Worship Singer. These musicians need to learn music quickly without sacrificing quality. We use practical drills and real repertoire to build speed and accuracy. I show you how to break down a score into manageable chunks. This reduces reading stress and increases confidence. Over time, your ability to play new music on first sight will improve greatly. You’ll be ready for auditions, rehearsals, and performances at a moment’s notice.
