About Eli

I’m a violin tutor with over 9 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education, specializing in orchestral strings. Throughout my career, I have directed string ensembles, led group violin classes, and coached youth orchestras. I am passionate about chamber music coaching and fostering collaborative playing among students. I focus on developing strong section leadership skills, refining ensemble dynamics, and teaching the art of tuning as a group. Building team musicianship is a key part of my teaching philosophy. I have worked extensively with schools, community centers, and chamber groups, helping students thrive in group settings. My lessons emphasize listening, blending, and supporting each other musically. Ensemble playing offers unique joy and growth, and I love guiding students through that shared experience. About the lesson
