I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor my teaching techniques to suit individual needs and learning styles. My approach is student-centered, focusing on building a strong conceptual understanding while also developing problem-solving skills. I use a mix of clear explanations, practical examples, and interactive exercises to keep lessons engaging and effective.
I encourage questions and foster a positive, supportive environment where students feel comfortable exploring challenging concepts. Regular practice and review are incorporated to ensure retention and build confidence.
Lessons typically last 60 to 90 minutes. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying and have 6 years of high school maths teaching experience in Malaysia. Currently, I am studying a Master of Teaching at Curtin University. I specialize in tutoring Year 7 to 9 students, helping them strengthen their maths skills and prepare for assessments.
