Hi! My name is Skyler, and I’ve been tutoring 6th and 7th grade math for the past year and a half. I am willing to tutor anyone from elementary to middle school. What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to break down complex math concepts into clear, manageable steps. I focus not just on getting the right answer, but on making sure students understand the why behind the math. I’ve helped students go from struggling with the basics to feeling confident in class. I’m patient, encouraging, and overall I believe it is most important to build a personal connection with each student. Whether it’s fractions, equations, or word problems, I work to build both skills and confidence that last beyond tutoring sessions!
