About Asher
I am a passionate violin tutor with 10 years of experience teaching high school and college students. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching 150-200 students, helping them develop their skills and love for music. My approach focuses on making each lesson engaging and personalised, ensuring that students feel supported every step of the way. One of my proudest milestones was seeing many of my students perform in school concerts and even pursue music professionally. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed, and I am dedicated to helping them reach their musical goals with confidence.

My teaching methodology for violin focuses on making learning both fun and effective. I use real-life examples and case studies to help students understand how the violin is used in different music styles and situations, making lessons more relatable. I motivate my students by setting achievable goals and celebrating progress, helping them build confidence in their playing. I believe in a problem-solving approach, where I guide students through challenges step by step, ensuring they understand and overcome difficulties. Integrity is at the core of my teaching—I value honest feedback and create a supportive, respectful environment where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace. Flexibility is key in my teaching style. I adjust lessons to fit each student’s needs, whether they are beginners or more advanced players. In addition to violin, I also offer lessons in related subjects, helping students become well-rounded musicians. My goal is to foster a deep passion for music in every student.
