About Hazel
My physics lessons are designed to welcome beginners and anyone who has ever felt overwhelmed by equations. I believe physics is a story—one that we can all understand and enjoy. Through warm, engaging storytelling, I connect complex ideas to everyday experiences you already know and relate to. We might explain gravity through a falling apple, unravel electromagnetism with a simple kitchen experiment, or explore relativity using a train ride analogy. Historical discoveries become vivid tales, and we also pause to reflect on the deeper philosophical questions physics inspires. I’m especially skilled at helping an Olympiad Competitor sharpen their problem-solving and a future Medical Physicist build strong conceptual foundations. My lessons replace intimidation with curiosity, turning hesitation into excitement. By the end, you won’t just grasp physics—you’ll feel the thrill of discovering how the universe works.

I’m a Physics tutor with over two years of experience and an MSc in Space Science and Technology. My passion lies in exploring the universe through a holistic and interdisciplinary approach to physics, blending the elegance of theory with the richness of observation. I specialize in astrophysics, delving into stellar structure, galaxy formation, black holes, and the vast large-scale structure of the cosmos.
In my lessons, I combine observational data with theoretical models to give students a complete understanding of how we study and interpret the universe. We explore the intricate physics governing stars and galaxies while connecting these concepts to the grand narrative of cosmic evolution. I encourage curiosity-driven learning, where students are free to ask bold questions and chase big ideas.
I’ve worked extensively with students who are passionate about astronomy, cosmology, and the mysteries that lie beyond our planet. Whether it’s analyzing star cluster data, modeling galaxy dynamics, or discussing the life cycle of black holes, I ensure every concept is both engaging and accessible. My approach balances rigorous science with creative thinking, helping students see how different branches of physics interconnect.
