About Lyla

My violin lessons are designed to be both structured and expressive, giving students a strong technical foundation while inspiring their creativity. About the lesson

I am a passionate violin tutor with over 9 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Violin Emphasis. My background spans solo, chamber, and orchestral performance, giving me a versatile approach to both technical mastery and artistic expression. I have performed in a wide range of settings, from intimate recitals to large concert halls, and I bring that breadth of experience into every lesson I teach.

My teaching focuses on more than just playing the notes — I help students develop a commanding stage presence that connects with audiences. I guide them through audition preparation with proven strategies that build confidence and clarity under pressure. For advanced students, I offer in-depth interpretation of complex repertoire, exploring phrasing, tone colors, and stylistic nuances that elevate performances.
